In the Kingdom... Our FAITH has to become our Full-time Occupation!

What is Faith?

Hebrews 11:1 describes it this way: NOW Faith is the substance (the actual matter of a thing, as opposed to the appearance or shadow; reality… it is REAL, it’s tangible, something we can see, feel and touch) of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So what we pray and hope for according to the Divine will, heart and plan of God will happen.

When we submit to the Lordship of Christ and become one with him, our desires change to his. When we have faith, hope or pray for something, it’s not empty or wishful thinking. The substance of it already exists in spirit, (which is eternal not temporal like the natural). Our job is to continue to declare it, and profess it, until we see it show up and manifest in this natural, earth space. We are his hands and feet on the earth to materialize his will. His plans and purpose are birthed through our earthen vessels. Even though we can’t see it in the natural…..... As we “hold fast” to what he has revealed to us and what we believe to be real and true, at the appointed time, it shall come to pass for all to see.

Now let’s deal with the word "Full-time": Requiring all or a large part of our time.

To simplify, let’s use this example.... When we fill out a job application, often it asks if we are able to work full-time or part-time? The purpose of this question is to find out our level of commitment to that particular position. According to our response, it will determine the level of benefits we will receive.

It works the same in the Kingdom to a certain degree. The only difference is our King does not accept part-time citizens or followers. Part-time means we’re on the fence and have not made up in our mind whether we want to serve him or the enemy. That’s called being lukewarm. Revelation 3:15-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth”. So he has a preference (full-time, always on fire for Him, willing and obedient). Then you will eat the good of the land as Isaiah 1:19 states).

There is no such thing as being part-time in the kingdom.

Part-time simply means we're on the enemies side. We don't fully trust the master to be our all or believe the promises in his word. Whenever we read the word and pray, we do not have the capacity to hold what we’ve spoken or read because we have a divided heart. It means we're double-minded and James 1:6-8 says it this way:

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering (unsteady, unreliable, undecided). For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed (anything and anyone sounds good and appeals to us). For let NOT that man think (not even a small consideration) that he shall receive any thing of the Lord”.

Double minded (means our allegiance is divided) man is unstable (not firm or firmly fixed; unsteady, liable to fall or sway) in all his ways”. So being full-time for the King entails all of us and all of our time, not just a portion! We are always on call. Like a doctor when their pager goes off and they are contacted by the hospital because they are needed. They have to respond to them at any time, no matter where they are. They have to be prepared to go to work when duty calls. They signed up for the job with this understanding. It’s the same thing when we become a citizen of the Kingdom of God. We sign up to be available to him however and whenever. Our answer should always be YES! Holy Ghost what would you like us to do today? There are NO benefits for part-timer’s in the KINGDOM of God! Ponder on this for a moment: What If He decided to be part-time to us?

Hebrews 12:23

Let us draw near with a true (real, genuine, authentic) heart in full assurance (being sure or certain) of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil (what is morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked): conscience (the inner sense of what is right or wrong in one's conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action), and our bodies washed with pure water (The Holy Ghost.. The bible says our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in us). Let us hold fast (something used to hold or secure a thing in place; a catch, hook, don't move from it) the profession (a paid occupation those benefits that come with being a part of the kingdom, a son (male or female and his heir), especially one that involves prolonged training and a formal qualification.

You may be asking yourself, what are some of the benefits of faith becoming our full-time occupation? Having peace, joy, dunamis power, understanding, walking in truth, authority, wisdom, abundance and revelation are the benefits that one can experience only through the Kingdom of God. Are you ready to serve full-time?
